Here is a guide that will help with this:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-replace-an-abs-wheel-speed-sensor

Below you will find the process from the manual on how to replace this. It suggests that you have to remove the hub but that is not needed. You just need to get access to the bolt that holds the sensor in and then you can replace it.

Please let us know if you have questions. Thanks

I pulled on the wire for my ABS sensor too hard as evidenced by the light staying on now. This was done while removing the passenger side drive shaft. I am finding that the sensor is not availiable as a part, you have to buy the whole Hub, Before I get a used part, is there a reason for this? Is the installation of the sensor dificult. Is it impossible to get out? Why would they do this to us?

Thanks

i'm not sure why mechanical engineers design things the way they do, but your right the hub and sensor is all one unit. it's not hard to replace. just remove the brake caliper and rotor, remove the axle nut, tap on the shaft gently until the axle breaks free from the spindal and unbolt the hub bearing from the steering knuckle. the spindal, hub and sensor is all one bolt on unit.the axle does not have to come out. anyway, hope the info helps. good luck
