Brake lights do not work?

I am having problems with my brake lights. I noticed if I pull back on the turn signal arm a little the Brake lights will work. it's the turn signal switch that has something to do with them not working. Can you help me please?

Yep, you have found the problem the brake lights are routed through the turn signal switch, and it sounds like it is bad, here is how to change it out. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
