Brake lights not working?

2008 CHEVROLET EQUINOX
187,000 MILES • 3.4L • AUTOMATIC

There are 4 bulbs that are my lower brake lights. 3 of them don't work. One does. The upper light also works. All taillights and turn signals work. The fuses look good, and I've switched out bulbs, but there's no change.

Hi,

I'm looking at the wiring schematics and it only shows two rear brake lights and one center high-mount brake light. Where are you seeing two?

The brake lamp bulb is a dual-element bulb. One element is a parking lamp and the other is for the brakes.

Let me know. I attached the wiring schematic below, so you have a reference. I highlighted the relevant controls.
