Brake lights only turn on when I barely apply any pressure to the brake pedal but turn off when I press firmly to actually slow down. All three lights do this. I have replaced the brake light switch but still have not fixed the problem.

it may be a defective brake light switch. check white wire leaving switch and if it goes out with a full application try another. if it is made in China do not use it. then check ground at left hand rear of frame by bumper.
