Got pulled over because the police wanted to tell me that when i am on the brake the reserves lights are on (white and yellow) brake lights including the red ones. Now on my car are the lights suppose to do that? Or is that a wiring situation?

check the ground for the taillights that may be the problem only the brake lights should come on unless head/tail lights are lit. the grounds are under the left hand and right hand front seats.
