My brake light in the rear in the driver's side will only come on if my headlights are off. When I turn my headlights on only the driver's brake light goes out. What could be the problem? Thank you all in advance.

Good morning.

This usually comes from either a bad socket or a bad ground. When the ground is not correct or dirty, it will not work both portions of the bulb.

I attached a picture of the socket as well as the ground location. It is G302 in the picture.
