I was wondering where the brake light ground socket is locket in my car. Is it close to the front of the car or in the rear by the brake light assembly?

In the diagram, for stop lamps, the wires on top are voltage, the black wire at the bottom is ground. The brown wire on top is voltage for tail lamps. The other color wire is voltage for stop lamps.
