Grinding sound in rear left wheel. It is there all the time when car is moving and gets worse when brakes are applied. Adjusted caliper and that helped a bit but grinding still there. I think it needs new pads but want to be sure what it is before I replace them.

How did you adjust the caliper?
If you meant simply prying the warning tab back, then yes, it seems you are due for new pads.
