Where can I connect the red wire from the trailer brake control?

Good morning.

The red wire should go directly to the battery. Do not tap into any circuit as you will overload that circuit.

Run it through the firewall and to the battery. Use an inline fuse and check in your instructions for the rating required for the installation.
