Car makes swooshing noise when I turn it off. It was diagnosed as a hole in the booster - brake booster control fluid. How is this fixed and cost to fix. Is this dangerous to drive with this problem?

As far as driving with a bad brake booster, it could get to a point where you have no power assist and the brake pedal gets very hard to push.

To repair this problem, the booster needs replaced. It is about a 150 dollar part that requires around an hour to replace.
