brake and tailights not comming on but right blinker works

I have a 1972 cadillac eldorado convertible and my tail lights and my brake lights are not coming on
but the right blinkers are working i was told the left turn signal switch need to be replace but would the
tail lights not come on as well.both headlight are fine.

check fuses for taillights and check to see if powe is coming ot the lh turn sig. I am assuming bulbs have been replaced and sockets are good. it may be the turn signal switch is bad.
