As soon as I turn the ignition key both radiator fan start to spin even though the car is cold and not on. I checked all the relays and fuses. Checked the voltage on the coolant sensor harness with ignition switch on, there is no 5v or the green pin is not grounded. I am clueless where to go next. Please help me with your expert opinion.

I also heard that it can be ac high pressure switch? When I try to turn the ac on it kicks in and turns off immediately also.

But I am just trying to the cooling fan fan problem first as its draining the battery as it stays on all the time. Car runs fine but only problem fan stay on all the time. Please help to solve this issue !

There are three relays for fans, fan relay 1 is for radiatior an d2&3 are for condenser fan. Check for low coolant the two switches in pic as well as where they are grounded. Look on our how to repair site here on how to check a bad relay as it could be that as well.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I checked all the three fan relays and MG CLT replay. They are all good.

Could it be low Freon? That is why the clutch not engaging and shuts off?

Or it could be AC pressure switch?

How do I check the AC pressure switch? I have one in high pressure side with four pins.

You never asked about aa/c not working just fans. If the pressure switch doesn't work then it may be low on Freon. Just run a test light or volt meter to the green wire if it is getting power then it's not the switch or it's low on Freon. The green wire goes to fan relay 1 have a pro check this by scanning as it may be something else all together like a thermistor or control head for hvac.
