Bose radio problem

in cold whether the radio has no sound or the station indicator functioning. After driving about ten to fifteen minutes the sound comes back on.

That would be a bad solder joint inside the radio. The heat as it warms up causes the internals to expand enough that it makes contact and works. The repair would be to remove it, tear the radio down to the main board and re-flow the connections. Not really a DIY process unless you are real comfortable working on electronics. There are places that do this type of repair, you ship them the radio, they repair it and you put it back in. Or you can get a replacement unit from a salvage yard and have it re-programmed to work in your truck. I generally opt to send out the original, you don't really know if the salvage units won't develop the same or similar issues once installed.
