Someone poured boric acid in my gas tank. It caused fuel pump to fail. The area where you insert the nozzle to add gas is badly corroded. How do I fix this problem? The fuel gauge is not working and fuel pump failed and blew fuse in one or two minutes after starting car. Already replaced fuel pump. What do I do next?

Hopefully you replaced fuel gauge sender unless you put in the whole module. you probably can get the corroded part at a dealer or junkyard and just replace it. actually junkyard would be cheaper and okay to use. replace the fuel inlet hose as well and check gas tank which I surmise has already been done. then get a locking gas cap for a while so it wont happen again unless they mess up that. replace the fuel filter if outside the tank as well.
