Engine is 3.0. What is a ballpark estimate to replace a slipping clutch, parts and labor.

I suspect the total would be dependent on the labor rate and the cost of the parts. Realoem.com has a clutch kit for about $300 and the time shown for replacement is 4.2 hours. Also the flywheel is possibly in need of resurfacing or replacement. So the total of around $1000 is possible depending on the outcome of the initial inspection.
