2000 BMW Z3 Sluggish performance

Error codes 188 and 189 (multiple misfires and fuel trim)
Replaced plugs, plug wires, crank case vent valve, fuel filter, wires from the coils to the plugs.
Checked ignition voltage. Coils ok.
Not driven in the winter.
After the codes were cleared, it ran progressively worse.
Replaced front oxygen sensors. It ran fine for 150 miles this time then the check engine light came back on.

Just to get clear, please repost with the last seven of the vin so I will know what motor you are talking about. The header description says 6 cyl, is it a 4 cyl.? If so what were the codes that came back? � � �

Thanks for the quick response.

It is a 6 cylinder 2.5 liter.
The error codes are 188 and 189.

Those are multiple misfires all cylinders and fuel trim.

When you mentioned wires from the coils to the plugs, it threw me, because on the inline sixes, there are individual coils and there aren't any plug wires. The fault codes are possibly generic and could be useful if their meaning was known and how these faults were extracted. Multiple misfires usually means spark or fuel issues, and an inspection of the intake, possibly with a smoke machine, to discover vacuum leaks would be on my list of things to start with. Also the MAF may be at fault.
