2004 BMW X5 intake manifold

i found my problem with my engine running rough. when it backfired it blowed a piece out of the bottom of the intake manifold. i didnt realize it was that black composite plastic. has anybody heard of such a problem and is there any way to glue the piece back in?

To replace it would be easier, call a salvage yard. (619)444-2290 and talk to John or Sean
