2004 BMW X5 Driver's Door Unable to Open!

2004 BMW X5 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi! I'd problem with my X5 driver's door lock for a while it wouldn't open with remote fob nor with key from outside, so i used to open by hand from inside and now is completley locked/ Seized-up and unable to open with key, fob nor manually. The rest of the doors work as always. I used to be able to open the driver's door by hand manually from inside of the car, now I have to jump over from passenger side to get behind steering wheel. Can anyone help me to fix this problem..... Any tips to get it going...... Help Help Help please...... Many thanks!

It seems as if you had some warning and you waited to fix it for whatever reason. Now it will take possibly removing the door panel to get the door open, this might involve ruining the door panel to get these repairs complete. Is the inside pull handle still attached to the door release cable or has it come off or broken?
