AC Does not Cool immediately sometimes?

It sounds as though the AC blower relay is fused.

You need a scan tool to retrieve the code. That will lead the tech to the failure. It is much cheaper to have a shop do it as the scanner runs about 2500.

The system has most likely developed a leak and it will need to be located and corrected then the system evacuated and properly recharged. This operation requires special tools and certifications, are you going to attempt this repair yourself?

It is blowing warm and cold because the air conditioning system is low on refrigerant, maybe just several ounces, and that's all it takes.

The overheating MUST be addressed straightaway or you risk serious damage to the engine. I strongly recommend towing the vehicle to the repair facility of your choice to avoid killing the engine. The A/C issue will require a system check and further testing, but it is probably low on refrigerant and I recommend injecting ultra violet dye into the system to see where the leak or leaks are.

I am not sure if this is something to worry about for now but lets start with inspecting the drive train for any thing loose.

Testing the high and low side pressures is the first step, if there is a leak then this can guide the diagnostic process. Either have this work performed or measure these pressures yourself and report back as soon as you can, I will be here.
