i was trying to pull a way on motor way it made a thumping and a jerk noise which was a bit scary...few days later inner city driving and stopped to give way then when i was trying to move of again it made a big thumping noise before it pulled of..the noise was like some thing explodding..scary again

I recommend a safety inspection straightaway, you might have a drive axle or driveshaft issue here.
