2003 BMW X5 uncontrolled braking

just bought this vehicle and as i was driving away the abs seems kick on when i let off the gas. i do not touch the brake pedal at all. the vehicle comes to a grinding halt. i removed the abs fuse to try and limp it to a dealer to no avail. if you have any idea as to what it might be that would be great..

Have it towed to the destination. Do not try and drive it. Bummer about your new purchase.
