2003 BMW X5 interior lights

My car would not start. I called AAA for a jump and drove to the repair shop. My interior lights will not go on if I open the door and my remote will only open the hatch.

Bill, never ever jump start the X5. If it is dead, have it towed. Now you might be at the mercy of the repair facility. The electrical systems on the E-53 are not fond of large voltage excursions sometimes encountered during jumping from a tow vehicle.
