Noises problem
2002 BMW X5 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic

I have that humming noise coming out of all speakers on the drivers side of the car. The speakers dont play music anymore it just buzzes or humms when you accelerate. The higher the RPM the louder the noise. It reminds me of when I was in high school and wired my own stereo amp and had to put a cap on the speakers because I had the power wire to close to the ground and it sent engine noise through my speakers.
Did I blow a factory amp or could I just get a noise filter from a stereo shop and put it on my speakers. It happened right after a massive rain storm and something may have gotten wet and grounded out.

The amp might well be the issue and filtering is not going to change that. Consider the aftermarket unless you want to line BMWs pocket with your $$$$$.
