2002 BMW X5 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 56.000 miles

I whant to buy a bmw on ebay and they say the motor is knocking ,they say that its not getting no preasure up with oil will u need to rebuilt the motor or fix what ever it pushing up the oil.

Check the oil pump to start with.
