hi,
i recently scanned a bmw x5 and I received the following fault code:

143 tank leak diag. With DMTL

I'd like to know what this code means and the way in which I can eliminated this fault code (check engine light is on). Also, i'd really appreciate it if you could inform me of how to replace the lower power steering pressure hose.

The fault may be in the DMTL module, if the scanning method was a generic scanner, that could be telling you misleading information. The P/S hose is going to require the car be lifted, you may wish to have a BMW technician render this service for you.
