2006 BMW X3 Brake pad wear warning light

I replaced pads and rotors on the X3 and installed new brake sensor wire but light remains on. I have tried the leaving the key to the on position for a couple of minutes but light remains on.

Double check both sensors and see if one of them is bad, I have had new ones be no good at all.
