Recommended oil & Oil change

What is the recommended oil for this car? The oil filter is not like many I have seen. Are there differences from changing this from a more 'traditional' vehicle (screw on filter)? Is the oil filter located in one of the 'normal' spots?

5W30 synthetic oil is correct and the oil filter is at the top of the motor. This guide will walk you through the steps
