I opened my sun/moon roof after having my battery disconnected now when i try to close it(even manually) the back part won't close.I looked in the manual and it says to get the system reinitialized but if that was the case wouldn't the whole thing not work?

To reinitialize the sunroof, turn the key on, push up(not forward or back, but up) and hold the sunroof button until the sunroof cycles through and ends in the close position. It takes up to a minute, be patient.
