I feel that the fuse is blown - fuse identification

All of the three lighter adapters do not work and I feel that the fuse is blown. What and where is the location of the fuse box and which fuse do I need to replace. Do I need to buy the fuse at a BMW dealer, or can I find the fuse at an Auto Zone store? thanks, Stan

Hello,

There are 3 fuse boxes on this vehicle.
One under the hood, other under the dash panel on the passenger side and the third one by the batter in the back. I have attached pictures for all three for your reference.

You can buy appropriate fuse at your local parts store. You do not have to go to the dealer for it. However you will have to take out the fuse when you go to the parts store so they can sell you the correct one.

First of all you need to check to see if the fuse is indeed blown. You can visually check it. Best option is to check it with a test light.
