2002 Other BMW Models oil filter

I have a 2002 BMW 745i i am trying to change the oil filter but i am having trouble locating it, could you help by giving me the location of it, if so i would truly be thankful. I believe it might screw in right with the oil panbut i am not really sure.

That's it, it is in the oil pan. It can make a mess, be sure you have a big enough catch pan.
