How do you remove the broken cupholder in front of gear shift. There are 2 visible screws that appear to hold the unit in the dash, but after removing those, the unit still wont come out. Wondering how else it is attached or what else needs to be removed first.

You found the two screws that come in from the front and removed them, now you must use force to remove the broken cupholder, be careful! The plastic can cut like a knife. Try removing it one piece at a time. No harm will come to anything, there isn't anything to damage in there.

Thats what I was wondering. Thanks for confirming my thought that it probably just pulls out. But I have knack for breaking stuff!

Cheers!

Have you seen the aftermarket cupholder that mounts in the center console?
