After I hit a bump in a highway my car engine stopped suddently apparently there is no damage to the bottom of the car, I tried to start the engine with no luck, the car was towed to my house. When I try to start the engine, the engine turns on for just a second and goes off again. Do you think could be an electrical problem? It´s a mechanical issue?, please help me. Thanks in advance.

Check for fuel pressure and for spark, could be just a bad fuel pump.
