I WAS WONDERING HOW YOU THINK THE LABOR IN HOURS IT IS TO REPLACE A REAR DRIVERSIDE AXLE IN A 1998 BMW M3 AND POSSIBLLY HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST FOR EACH HOUR THAT THE WORK IS DONE, AND IF YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THE AXLE WOULD COST AS WELL

THANK YOU

are you asking for time to repair axle bearing or replace the half shaft? if the bearing has failed and requires replacement, then you have about 2.5 hours of labor plus the cost of the bearing, about 70 U.S. dollars. shop labor rates are variable and can range from 80 to 150 per hour depending on where you are.
