car starts and runs but when you touch the gas pedel car dies if you let it run and get to normal running temperature car seems to do better

Is this car dear to you? If so then be prepared to have a lot of $$ go to the mechanic who takes on the repair. The early E-32 750 is a nightmare to maintain and to troubleshoot and I recommend you consider this before continuing. First thing I would do is to run a short test with the proprietary BMW software and report back with the results. It may be a dead fuel pump(there are two) a vacuum leak, or a component failure or ?
