I just replaced the alternator after it went dead on me but after installing 2 different rebuilt alternators I still have the charging warnning light on on both occasions I checked the battery is being charged and alternator is charging properly and the belt tension is tight enough what is causing the warning light to turn on and how can I get rid of this light?

Sounds like the instrument cluster has a failure. Repost if you want to replace the cluster and get the lamp to go out.
