Electrical problem
1998 BMW 740 V8 Two Wheel Drive 120000 miles

Been experiencing battery problems with '98 BMW 740i. Battery goes dead after about 3 days. Been throwing it on a charger overnight approx every 3-4 days, for about 4 months. Have had to get jumps here or there when I've forgotten to charge. Have had a couple different people check fuses to see what is causing the draw on the battery. Never with any luck. Now, the radio, lights, etc. work but absolutely nothing happens when you try to start it. Does not respond to a jump now either. Do you think maybe i just need a NEW battery? Or am I looking at something more COSTLY?

Battery replacement seems to be in order, although the possibility of circuit damage due to jump starting is quite possible.
