Electrical problem
1997 BMW 740 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Dear Boss
Have a nice day ,
I have 1997 BMW 740IL , I had little problem , last 2 days I got weak battery so I had to make jump-starting with other vehicle , after that I got the following problems :

- speedometer not function normally.
- driver windows switch function all widows but not driver window.
- steering sometimes get little hard.
- all doors open by remote control but not the driver door nor the trunk.

because BMW is so electronically advanced it relies on the battery having full power at all times, I suggest you put a new battery in it and don't try to be cheap by putting a smaller battery in it, make sure you use the original size. after you have your new battery installed let me know if the problem still exists.
