Engine ideals fine out of gear, but in gear and rolling very ruff performance. Maint, anti skid, abs lites on. Whays my first issue.

I would say there is a problem with the engine, start with checking/replaceing the cyclone seperator. The car should have a short test to determine the status of the other systems. Go to a BMW independent repair shop or someone with the proper diagnostic equipment. Peake engineering makes code readers for BMW, try them.
