1993 BMW 740 V8 Automatic 145000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
My car sputters when idling and starts to choke when I try to accelerate as if it's not getting gas. I've had the fuel filters replaced and the air filter checked. What could be the problem? The catalytic converter was also checked and no problem with that found.

Possibly the PCV plate on the back of the intake manifold. Part number 11-61-7-501-562. Be careful getting the t-30 Torx bolts loose or you will strip them and the manifold will need to be removed.
