BMW 540:Cruise Control works only 2xtimes after engine start

hello,

my car keeps surprising me. The cruise control works 2x times after every engine start only. After that it doesn't work any more. Neither speed memory button nor accelerating via cruise control.

Would be thankful for your input.

First thing is to replace the brake lamp switch. Do that and let me know what happens.
