I had the car to the dealer to diagnose a shifting problem. Their diagnosis indicates a"fault for transmission temperature sensor, implausible signal being sent, needs trans valve body harness replaced. It is a rather expensive repair. I thought about attempting the repair myself , are there any special tools? Does the valve body need to be removed or can this be accomplished by just fishing wire? Can anyone talk me through the job? Thanks Damian

Perhaps you could do the job, do you have tools, skills, and a place to work on the car?
