When I turn my air on in my car on hot days, it runs for about 5 to 10 minutes and cuts off. When Its a cool day or night, I can cut the air on and it will run fine and not cut off.

Check the auxiliary fan for proper operation, they have a recall on the fan, check with your dealer.
