My Car was overheating about 3 wks ago, I replaced the thermostat, that seemed to work , now it is overheating again, when I turn on the heater the temp goes down, that was not the case the last tome, what is the problem?

Could be airlock in the system, clogged up radiator, defective water pump and cooling fan -overheat continues get it block and pressure tested to rule out a blown headgasket cracked head or blockintake leak-
