Air Conditioning problem
2005 BMW 530i

My fans stopped blowing all of the sudden. All of the button lights seem to work fine and fuses are good but still no air coming out. This happened once before but 2days latter the fans came back on when I was starting the car. Are there any resistors or relay I could check?

There is a final stage control module, it may require replacement.

In the passenger footwell, remove the Phillips screw holding the carpet trim piece in (at about mid shin level) remove the screw and slide the trim rearward to remove. The final stage unit has a 5 wire conductor attached, there is only a plastic tab retaining it. This is really quite easy to do, let me know how it goes.
