Transmission problem
2004 BMW 530i 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 70/000 miles

i was driving and stopped at a light when i pressed on the gas the car would not move --i tried reverse also and that did not work either

Can you tell me if there are warning lights illuminated or what else happened. To just lose the ability to move without anything else happening is spooky.
