Car alarm goes off randomly. Can't lock the car or alarm goes off soon after. There is no consistent variables i.e. rain, wind, vibration that make this happen. I have pulled the fuse out that allows the sirens to go off, but the lights continue to flash. Could my key need to be replaced or is this a short or computer problem? Thanks in advance for your input.

The hood switch is a likely place for false inputs, lift the hood and look for it in front of the drivers side cabin filter. Pull up on the switch button to send a closed signal and close the doors and set the alarm and see if it goes off again. If not, repost and we will go on into it more.
