Transmission problem
2001 BMW 530i 125,00 miles

A couple weeks ago in the mountains, my ASC kicked in and the light came on. Now neither will turn off. I tried pressing my DSC button and nothing happened. Now my ABS light is going on and off. My "Trans Failsafe" light comes on as well when I start the car. I don't want to get hosed by the dealer, if this might be an easy fix. I also just noticed that my right front tire is a lot more worn than the other three. Could that have something to do with it as well.

The issue will require the replacement of the DSC control module. It will need to be coded to the car as well. The transmission fail safe indicator might be unrelated. Either way, you are going to need to find someone with the proper equipment and credentials in your area.
