1994 BMW 530i tranny issue but not ?

hi i have a 1994 bmw 530i i just bought it the issue is win i put the car in drive it shakes and acts like the tranny is slipping and wont go the rpms rev up and then the car jumps into gear and gos but here is where it gets tricky soon as the car gos into gear and drives tranny code comes up on dash and drives fine after the code comes up in every gear only win you get out and shut car off and code gos away does it act up again so win code is on it runs fine so i do not know what it is please help
