yesterday i was driving in water puddle and the car showed Trans Fail Safe Prog on the dash board after that the aclerator takes lot of effort to run from the still postion

The limp home mode in active now and this is something that will require a trip to your friendly local BMW repair facility to scan the vehicle and find out why it is in limp home mode.
