If the screen is not working then the issue might be the module in the trunk where the signal is generated, but you will probably only find someone with the skills and equipment to repair your car at the dealership level.

I agree. Its one of those problems where its not so difficult to fix, but have to take it to a professional to get it fix because of the tools and electonic components. It sucks.
